As an aim to support worldwide efforts to minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus, iluvia deployed its formulation and production teams to utilize their expertise in manufacturing high quality, medical grade sanitizers for frontline workers, essential services staff, and for the general public.
With a complete commitment to quality, and ensuring parameters for the highest safety, iluvia started production of WHO Recommended Formula sanitizers in both 80% Ethyl Alcohol as well as 75% Isopropyl Alcohol formulations. A truly Make in India initiative for high quality, global manufacturing.
The iluvia 80% Alcohol Gel Sanitizer was the 1st WHO Recommended Sanitizer in Gel format available commercially in India in May, 2020, a proud moment for the entire team. The team ensured the use of highest quality of ingredients, premium packaging materials, and certified manufacturing sites to launch the product in a mere 20 day timeline. The product has consistently received excellent feedback and consumer response due to its non-sticky, non-drying properties, which are crucial for frontline workers and users in high-contact areas with high frequency of use. It continues to be one of the top rated sanitizer products on major e-commerce portals and websites.
Since launch in May, 2020, the iluvia sanitizer has been sent across to medical, defence, hospitality, consumer, and corporate verticals across India, UAE, Saudi Arabia among others. Maintaining its commitment to quality, the team ensured each product was tested and complies with the most stringent global norms followed for sanitizer production. The iluvia Sanitizer is registered with India-FDA and US-FDA, as well as is fully compliant with TGA (Australia) and Health Canada guidelines as an exempt import product (as per July 2020 guidelines).
